Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Specialist

We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team in Rockwood, TN. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our company’s financial health by collecting outstanding payments and keeping customer accounts up to date.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Secure timely payments through professional collection calls and clear communication.
  • Be the owner of assigned customer accounts, monitoring their status and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively to minimize overdue payments and keep our cash flow running smoothly.
  • Partner with sales and management to escalate collection efforts when necessary.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the A/R department by taking initiative on additional tasks.

Qualifications:

  • You have a high school diploma, and an Associate’s degree or higher is a plus.
  • You bring 1-3 years of experience in high-volume corporate collections.
  • You’re passionate about providing excellent customer service, even in challenging situations.
  • You can navigate customer interactions with tact and courtesy.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office.

Logistics Consultant at Roane

As a Logistics Consultant at Roane, you’ll wear many hats – but they’ll all be focused on exceeding customer expectations and optimizing their supply chains. You’ll be the quarterback of your clients’ freight needs, managing everything from initial contact to seamless delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be a customer service champion, building long-term relationships through clear communication and top-notch service.
  • Oversee every step of the shipment lifecycle, ensuring your clients’ goods are picked up, transported efficiently, and delivered on time.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, liaising between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing for your clients.
  • Collaborate with your team on pricing strategies and tackle challenges head-on.
  • Build a strong client base through targeted outreach and networking.

Qualifications:
